As time has gone on, I have realized that she is my soul mate, and she is the
only woman I would ever want to grow old with. It was truly God’s will that she
came into my life, and I am a better man today because of her.
I would like to propose a toast to my wife. In I Corinthians 13, these words are
written:
“Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast.
It is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily
angered.
It keeps no records of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices
With the truth. It always protects, always trusts,
Always hopes and always preserves.”
______________, I have already made my pledge to you today to be your husband,
but again, in front of our family and friends, I want to assure you that I will
be the best life mate I can possibly be. With God’s blessings and if it is His
will, we shall share the rest of our lives, and hopefully all of eternity
together as well.
You have made me the happiest man in the world. Thank you for being my bride.
